Recreation center “Volna”

The Volna recreation center is located 10 minutes from the center of Tyumen. The current resort complex was built around a well with mineral water in 1987, and is regularly renovated and completed. The hot springs of the city of Tyumen have become a real attraction, attracting the attention of tourists not only in summer, but also in winter.

Previously, before the large-scale reconstruction, the recreation center was designed for only 100 people at a time. However, in 2015, renovation work was carried out, new treatment facilities and a large swimming pool were installed.

The waters of the springs at the Volna recreation center are naturally slightly muddy. This is explained by the high content of trace elements in its composition. Previously, it was difficult to swim in such water, but the problem was successfully solved all in the same 2015. However, water gets into pools and showers after thorough cleaning, due to which it becomes transparent, but does not lose its natural properties. The composition of water contains such important elements as potassium, magnesium, lithium, calcium, etc. Before entering the pool, water travels a distance of more than 1 kilometer.

A visit to the “Volna” recreation center is recommended for people suffering from the following diseases:

• neuroses, nervous tics and other pathologies of the nervous system;

• muscle sprains, various sports injuries.

Bathing in water has a beneficial effect on the skin, helping in the treatment of various dermatological diseases, strengthening ligaments and joints. Also, the waters of the recreation center have an immunomodulatory effect, the ability to relieve insomnia and fatigue, and to relax.

Due to the high temperature of the water in the springs (43 degrees), the resort receives visitors all year round, even in the most severe frosts, despite the fact that the central pool is completely open air. The pool is designed in such a way that there are children and adults areas in it. In the children’s zone, the “shallows”, the depth is quite shallow, about 70 cm, and in the adult zone, the depth reaches 1.7 meters. This separation allows both children and adults to swim safely.

On the territory of the recreation center, in addition to a reservoir with healing water, where visitors can swim, there is a bath complex, an ice room, and a salt cave. Also, on the territory of the complex, massage services are provided, it is possible to visit a cafe and order a set lunch there.

It is important to remember that the Volna recreation center is not a sanatorium, which, in addition to medical procedures, has rooms for living. It is impossible to settle at the base itself, but there are several hotels near it, which also accept patients throughout the year.

The Volna recreation center has become a favorite place for many Tyumen residents. But not only residents of Tyumen itself come to it, but also guests from other cities and even countries. After all, “Volna” has become a real attraction, famous for its healing water and wonderful atmosphere.
