The famous resorts in Essentuki take their history from the 18th century. Here the gallant Russian soldiers rested after battles and healed their wounds. And when it became clear that this place has not only a charming effect with its landscapes, but also healing with its mud and mineral waters, the emperor decided to develop the resorts of the Caucasus.

The most famous of them is proudly called “The Pearl of the Caucasus”. This modern “forge of health” (as the resort was called in Soviet times) occupies an advantageous position near the mineral springs “Essentuki-4”, “Essentuki-17”, “Essentuki-new”. Here the guest can try all the delights of industrial hospitality: rooms of various categories, three meals a day according to the favorite “buffet” system, open guarded parking and, of course, free Wi-Fi.

It is impossible not to mention the healing aspect of the sanatorium: if you are worried about diseases of the stomach, intestines, musculoskeletal and nervous system, gynecological sphere, as well as many different ailments, then the health resort “Pearl of the Caucasus” will become a real panacea for you, because one vacation spent on this resort will be much more pleasant than a long-term hospital stay.

But “Zhemchuzhina” is chosen not only by regulars of clinics, because the resort provides many options for lovers of active leisure. These are indoor and outdoor freshwater pools, a billiard room, a tennis court, outdoor sports grounds, table tennis tables. The indoor 25-meter pool offers aqua aerobics classes. In the exercise room, equipped with modern cardiovascular equipment, fitness training and yoga classes are held.

A tour desk awaits curious guests, an expanded library for avid readers, and daily concerts, events and theme nights with the participation of local creative teams and invited artists for those who like to have a good evening. There is a beauty parlor, hairdresser and spa services for beautiful ladies.

An excellent option will be the “Caucasian Pearl” for young parents: the sanatorium accepts children from birth, they will be provided with a children’s playroom, a summer pool and a playground, and spacious family rooms are suitable for accommodation.

But everyone, without exception, will be mesmerized by the amazing nature of the Caucasian region, clean air and an atmosphere conducive to calmness and relaxation, which is so necessary in our turbulent time.

The sanatorium prioritizes the health of its guests, and therefore quickly reacts to the current circumstances in the world. The employees of the health resort comply with all the mandatory measures aimed at combating the coronavirus: regular disinfection, mask regime, a thorough check of the health of doctors and other visitors to the resort.

Advantages of the resort: attractions within walking distance from the hotel, guests note a wide range of leisure activities and entertainment from the resort itself. Excellent service: everything is on time, everything is thought out and nothing is left to chance. Friendly staff, always ready to help or answer staff questions.

There is also a varied food, and for those who find it insufficient, there are restaurants and cafes located right next to the hotel.

Renovated, clean rooms; standard rooms are quite comfortable and differ from the improved ones in that they do not have air conditioning and have old TVs. Guests love high ceilings, pretty curtains and spacious bathrooms.

The territory around the sanatorium is well-groomed, with tall trees, from some balconies you can see Elbrus. Guests love that they are located on a hill, slightly away from the central areas. “The air itself heals here!” They say. Near Victory Park, resort park, drinking galleries, market. Be sure to advise you to visit the mud baths nearby, at least just to see the unique structure.
It is worth noting the attentive and careful attitude of doctors and instructors, who fully fulfill their functions and do even more: give advice on maintaining health, share personal secrets of longevity.

Disadvantages of the resort: occasionally there are cases of inconsistency between the photos of the rooms and their real views, the food is not suitable for people with acute intestinal disorders: there are sausages, sausages and fried meat.
